Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Job Name:  Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our onsite project in Sweden.

Responsibilities: 

• Understand the different parts of the framework, their flow, and dependencies. 

• Maintenance of the framework, in terms of bug fixes, refactoring as per the need 

• Feature growth based on the requests from stakeholders 

• Continuously work with improvement in our ability to create a better product.

Skills:

• University degree in Embedded Software Engineering, or equivalent education. 

• 9+ years of programming and development experience in .NET/C# and C++, including efficient execution in C++, and development of libraries, services, and APIs in .NET/C#. 

• Experience from a large complex code base. 

• Windows Desktop application GUIs. 

• Have a good understanding and practical experience with multithreading. 

• Backend Services implementation and use M2M APIs Machine/user Authentication/Authorization Databases and Data storage. 

• Critical thinking and adaptable to legacy code and to keep solutions common. 

• Grasp systems of services and external dependencies and combine a holistic view with a detailed view. 

• Working in larger code projects with layered architecture. 

 

Experience in the following is considered as a merit: 

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for HIL systems and knowledge of CAN & LIN. 

• SQL/SQLite Database, RabbitMQ, or other message queues. 

• Artifactory, Azure resources, and similar technologies.
   

Personality:

Someone who can has an architectural mindset and can help identify needed improvements in the framework along with maintaining/adding new features.

We are  looking for someone who dares to question and doesn’t fear pushing for their technical ideas based on understanding of the existing code structure. Also, very important who doesn’t hate SAFE, who understand the need and is ready to attend meetings like daily and refinements and doesn’t get drained from them
